Bitsmedia, established in Singapore in 2009, develops and publishes Muslim Pro – the world leading lifestyle and utility app for Muslims, and also Qalbox – a leading VOD streaming platform focused on Muslim lifestyle. We’re headquartered in Singapore, and also have regional offices in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Dhaka.

What we need from you

• 4 to 6+ years experience in back-end development using JavaScript
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Your previous works that you can show us
• Good knowledge of Git
• Write readable, maintainable, future-proof, scalable code
• Must be able to identify and fix issues proactively
• Maintain effective communication with other remote teams and able to relay to a small team of 2

Great if you also have

• Proficiency in NodeJS, NestJS
• Good understanding of different architectures and design patterns
• Good knowledge of SQL & NoSQL database technologies
• Good knowledge of GKE / Kubernetes
• Familiarity in GenAI / ML / Model Training
• Familiarity in Python and TypeScript
• Experience with secured, optimized & scalable back-end API development
• Experience with high performance, responsive & cross browser compatible web application development
• Knowledge of Firebase, GCP and its different products
• Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams
• Able to review others’ codes
• Able to help out junior developers
• Able to work on full features independently
